·  Comprehensive audiological evaluations
The audiometric evaluation consists of testing with both speech and pure tones. Testing with pure tones is done to determine the amount of hearing loss for volume. More importantly, speech discrimination scores are obtained to estimate the loss of hearing pertaining to the fine-tuning ability of the ear. Speech testing is performed both in quiet and with background noise to assess hearing ability in both environments.

The Hearing Aid Consultation is a counseling session centered around your specific hearing needs, and the hearing devices available to fit those needs. We will discuss your potential benefit from hearing aids, which hearing aid styles are best suited for you, along with choosing the best hearing aid for your budget and lifestyle. You will receive honest and realistic information about the expected outcomes with hearing aids with no added hype or high pressure.

·  30-day trail period for all hearing aids
We offer a wide selection of hearing aids, including digital processing and digitally programmable, from a variety of manufacturers. We will work with you to find the best solution for your hearing healthcare needs within your budget.

·  Assistive Devices
In some cases, hearing aids are not the complete answer to communication difficulties. There are many other devices available to help you in your most difficult listening environments. These devices include television listening systems, special doorbells, vibrating alarm clocks, amplified telephones that really work, mobile phone solutions, and many others. We encourage you to talk to us about all of your listening difficulties.
